HiR Upskilling

AI wont replace your team.
We train the team it cant.

The training arm of the agentic firm: a multi-phased, operator-led program where your people come back to every session with something they've built — on real work, in your real stack, at the frontier.

[01]The problem

Everyone got the license. Nobody changed Monday.

The two-hour workshop is theater. Everyone leaves inspired, goes back to their desk, and nothing changes. People don't learn AI by sitting and absorbing — they learn by doing, in levels, with reps on real work and someone who's shipped holding the bar.

We bought the tools. Usage peaked in week two.

We ran the workshop. It didn’t survive contact with the quarter.

Our best people are learning AI at home — on their own projects, not ours.

Every team has a prompt doc. No team has a system.

Do, don’t absorb · Levels, not lectures · Built between sessions · Scored, then retested

[02]What it is

Not a workshop. A program with levels.

HiR Upskilling puts the operators who build AI companies in the room with your people — an intro session, then four to five working sessions over a matter of weeks, each one building on what your team shipped since the last. Structured, spaced, and hands-on, because that's how behaviour actually changes. The deliverable isn't a certificate. It's a team that works differently, and the systems they built getting there.

What we install

  • Fluency, measured — scored at the baseline, retested after. The lift is the deliverable
  • Working systems — every session ends with something your team built, running
  • Judgment — what to automate, what to never automate, and how to check the work
  • An internal bench — champions in every function who carry it forward

[03]How it works

Baseline. Build. Prove the lift.

01.

Baseline.

Laptops out from minute one. We score every participant’s AI fluency, teach how these systems actually work — probabilistic, not deterministic — and run the first real prompts inside your own tools.

02.

Build.

Four to five working sessions over a matter of weeks, in step-by-step levels. Everyone returns with something they’ve built since the last session — real prompts, first skills, agents on their own workflows — and leaves with the next quest.

03.

Prove.

We retest the fluency score and hand over the playbooks, assets, and internal champions. The lift is measurable — and it keeps compounding after we step back.

[04]Formats

Built for the team you have, not the org chart you dont.

The program

The flagship: an intro session, then four to five working sessions over a matter of weeks — one cohort at a time, building on their own workflows between sessions.

Executive intensive

Two days with the leadership team: what AI changes about your industry, your operating model, and your next four quarters. Decisions, not demos.

Embedded upskilling

Standalone, or run alongside an HiR Build engagement or a residency: your team learns the system by building it with us, then owns it when we leave.

[05]The full circle

Upskilling is one third of the firm.

Consulting builds the systems. Talent runs them. Upskilling makes them yours. Companies start with one practice and grow into the loop — the training surfaces what to build next, and the builds create what to train on next. Full circle.
